Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to read about me! My name is Aya and I’m a ceramic artist based in Florida.

I am a one person team, and I create my work in my tiny home studio, with the company of my two cats Pip and Louis, who both serve as my muse. 

My journey in ceramics was born out of a period of intense burnout from working as a critical care nurse during the pandemic. During this time, I was desperately seeking a creative outlet to decompress on my days off. I turned to clay because it quieted my mind and brought me so much joy. But nothing else brings me more joy than seeing the likeness of my cats in functional pieces that can be used every day.
